Refunds Policy

  • Tickets can not be refunded except in the case of cancelled performance (excluding cancellation or postponement caused by weather – see below). In the case of a cancellation only the face value of the ticket is refundable and not the booking or postage fee.

Weather Policy

  • Refunds are not given for cancellation or abandonment due to weather conditions.
  • The auditorium and stage are uncovered. We make every effort to complete the performance but reserve the right to stop and start the action as necessary.
  • If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, the Ticket Agent/Venue will be informed by 4pm that day so that audience members can be informed if possible.
  • The Production Company provides staff to inform audiences of any cancellations at the gate from the time the gates open to the time the show starts.
  • Once the show is underway, all will be done to complete the show.
  • If the first half of the show (to the interval) has proceeded, no refunds or alternative dates will be offered.
  • In the situation that the show is cancelled before half is shown. The company will do their best to offer an alternative date. Audiences will be informed by way of announcement.
  • Ticket agents/Venues will be informed as soon as possible and the following information confirmed.
  • In the case of abandonment or cancellation, alternatives will be offered.
  • Patrons would need to bring tickets/stubs to these performances. In the case that alternative dates are also cancelled. Patrons should write to The Works Theatre Company, 15 Mercer Dirve, Harrietsham, Maidstone. Kent ME17 1AY to apply for a refund.

Returns Policy

  • The Ticket agent/venue are not obliged to accept tickets for resale and are free to charge for this service if they do so.
